  • Welcome to our blog!

It's our differences that make us better together. Being married ourselves, we fully understand each other's strengths and weaknesses. We also know each other's habits and tendencies. While I, Tricia, provide the emotional support for the couple to be, Bob handles everything technical. He is the Yin to my Yang and vice versa.

The Yin-Yang symbol (like our logo) represents the ancient Chinese understanding of how things work. The outer circle represents "everything," while the black and white shapes within the circle represent the interaction of two energies, called "yin" (black) and "yang" (white), which cause everything to happen. They are not completely black or white, just as things in life are not completely black or white and they cannot exist without each other.

Bob and I need each other to capture all the details of our clients special day. Having been a bride and bridesmaid myself (10 times!), I know the stress and the thrill you are feeling. Everything from bow and bustle tying to calming the atmosphere, I step in to be the extra pair of reassuring hands. Bob does the same with the guys; from tying bow ties to pinning boutonnières. Without fail, besides taking photos, our vast wedding experience helps in ways we never imagined. Thanks to Bob's constant research, we are up to date on the latest technology and gadgets. (Smilebooth anyone?) He makes sure the camera bags are packed with everything we need, while I double check that the babysitter has arrived. We communicate throughout the day from across the room without even speaking. We know where the other is at all times and what they are doing. This all happens seamlessly and makes for a very smooth and relaxing wedding day.

When we are not on the job we are at home with our 3 kids: Cam, Reese and Lincoln. They are a soccer star, pianist and a comedian. Not to brag but we are almost unbeatable on Rock Band for the Wii.

We still get butterflies when we arrive at a wedding. But, with cameras in hand and the Yin to our Yang there to complete us, we feel in control. You cannot have one without the other. And when they come together everything flows full circle.

Lindsey & Dave – Married!!!!

Lindsey and Dave are living proof that not all of what happens in Cancun, stays in Cancun.  And that’s a good thing; a vacation love story success.  Quick story – Tricia always calls me at the church when the ladies are on the way, just to give us a heads up.  This time, not only did I get a heads up, but I listened to her practically screaming at me about how incredible Lindsey looked and the awesomeness of Lindsey’s dress.   Apparently, it was the nicest dress she had ever seen.  I tend to agree.  And here is proof of that -

Think the girls look a little surprised?  They were.  This is not the dress they had seen before.  This one was just picked up days before the wedding.
We took a bunch of cool shots around M.I.T. and the amazing architecture –
Hollywood celebrity couple.  Anyone with me?
MMMMMMM, dessert.
Even doing the robot, she still looks good.
Congrats!!!  I hope you had a great time in Aruba.

Smilebooth – Catherine & Jimmy’s Wedding

Here’s a few fun Smilebooth shots from Catherine & Jimmy’s wedding -

Kait & Joe

We met Kait and Joe about a year ago while shooting Joe’s sister’s wedding.   I don’t think it’s any coincidence that Joe caught the garter and Kait caught the bouquet.  Here they are in action -

…and here they are today, engaged -

I couldn’t get enough of this cool copper wall –
After a quick costume change, we took a ride to the beach –
This is one of my favorites –

From Here To Eternity anyone? Anyone?

Lydia & Mark – Married!!!

Our string of perfect weather weddings continues.   Say that 5 times fast.  When Mark and Lydia got engaged last year they picked their wedding date according to the tide.   Since the reception would be right on the ocean, it HAD to be at high tide.   Lydia and Mark are avid sailors and the whole wedding revolved around sailing and the sea; from the readings during the ceremony to the sailcloth tent on the water.  It was a picture perfect day.

Such awesome boutonnieres -
Lydia & Mark chose to see each other before the ceremony.  Loved their reaction –
The sky was amazing –
No limo, no bus, no car ride to the reception.  It was a tractor pulled hay ride.  Awesome.
Since we did this trick during their engagement session, we had to try it again  -

Another cool preview…
