  • Welcome to our blog!

It's our differences that make us better together. Being married ourselves, we fully understand each other's strengths and weaknesses. We also know each other's habits and tendencies. While I, Tricia, provide the emotional support for the couple to be, Bob handles everything technical. He is the Yin to my Yang and vice versa.

The Yin-Yang symbol (like our logo) represents the ancient Chinese understanding of how things work. The outer circle represents "everything," while the black and white shapes within the circle represent the interaction of two energies, called "yin" (black) and "yang" (white), which cause everything to happen. They are not completely black or white, just as things in life are not completely black or white and they cannot exist without each other.

Bob and I need each other to capture all the details of our clients special day. Having been a bride and bridesmaid myself (10 times!), I know the stress and the thrill you are feeling. Everything from bow and bustle tying to calming the atmosphere, I step in to be the extra pair of reassuring hands. Bob does the same with the guys; from tying bow ties to pinning boutonnières. Without fail, besides taking photos, our vast wedding experience helps in ways we never imagined. Thanks to Bob's constant research, we are up to date on the latest technology and gadgets. (Smilebooth anyone?) He makes sure the camera bags are packed with everything we need, while I double check that the babysitter has arrived. We communicate throughout the day from across the room without even speaking. We know where the other is at all times and what they are doing. This all happens seamlessly and makes for a very smooth and relaxing wedding day.

When we are not on the job we are at home with our 3 kids: Cam, Reese and Lincoln. They are a soccer star, pianist and a comedian. Not to brag but we are almost unbeatable on Rock Band for the Wii.

We still get butterflies when we arrive at a wedding. But, with cameras in hand and the Yin to our Yang there to complete us, we feel in control. You cannot have one without the other. And when they come together everything flows full circle.

Another cool preview…

Steamy Sneak Peek –

Caroline & David

Here we go with Caroline and David and some fun on the beach. Again, the perfect weather and tides made for a some sweet shots -

Here’s a couple from the bag ‘o tricks –

Michelle & Jesse – Married!!!

A couple of weeks back Tricia and I had a blast shooting Michelle and Jesse’s wedding.  From start to finish, the whole day was unique.  But, it was uniquely them.  I can’t think of a nicer bunch of people to spend the day with.  So, here we go.  That’s right, no white wedding gown for this bride -

It was a picture perfect day on the Charles River for a wedding -
Here’s where the big event went down –
These two shots were taken just 2 seconds apart.  It’s funny they were both having a pre-ceremony toast at the exact same time.
A quick sneak peek before a short walk to the Museum of Science –
We got to take a few shots inside the museum.  Here’s the T-Rex face –
More T-Rex faces –

Meagan & Kyle – Married!!

Meagan and Kyle tied the knot last weekend in Gloucester.  Now, that is a bit of a drive from Cohasset, so Tricia and I left extra early.  You can never be too careful with the unpredictable traffic around Boston.  But, we had smooth sailing and had time to stop for lunch when we made it to Gloucester.  We found a little BBQ place called Smokin’ Jim’s.  MMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!  I highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich.  Moving on.  Tricia and I talked on the way home about how much we enjoyed this wedding.  It’s hard to describe, but everything was just nice and easy.  The wedding party, both families, friends, Ocean View Inn staff, and of course, Meagan and Kyle; all just the nicest bunch of people.  It would have been tough NOT to have a good time.  OK, here we go, lots of stuff to show -

Love this.  Get it??  7-24
The Ocean View Inn was such a perfect place for an outdoor wedding –
Both were so intent during their vows –
Here’s some of the hardest working bridesmaids Tricia has ever seen  -
The skies threatened rain all day.  But, just before the sun went down, it peeked out for a few minutes, so we took advantage -
